India Medical Services ("IMS," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website ims-india.com (the "Site") to help international patients connect with accredited hospitals and wellness centres in India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

IMS is a medical tourism facilitation service. We are not a hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider. We coordinate introductions between patients and independent, third-party accredited hospitals; we do not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or advice ourselves. 2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly — when you submit an inquiry, request a consultation, register a hospital partnership interest, apply for a job, or subscribe to updates, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, country, treatment or specialty of interest, and any message or additional details you choose to share. Hospital partnership applications may additionally include hospital name, role/title, bed capacity, accreditations, and patient volume.
• Health-related information you choose to share — the free-text fields on our forms are optional, and you may voluntarily include details about a medical condition or treatment need. We treat this as sensitive personal information (see Section 3 below) and only use it to route your inquiry to the appropriate hospital or specialty team.
• Automatically collected information — like most websites, we automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, typically via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• Information from third-party analytics and advertising services — we use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These services may collect information about your interactions with our ads and pages, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. Special Note on Sensitive / Health Information

Because IMS facilitates medical treatment inquiries, some information you submit may reveal details about your health. We do not require you to disclose specific medical information, and we recommend sharing only what is necessary for us to match you with an appropriate hospital. Any health-related information you do provide is used solely to facilitate your inquiry and is not sold, used for advertising targeting, or shared with anyone other than the hospital(s) relevant to your request and our internal coordination team, without your consent.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and connect you with a suitable hospital or wellness centre
• Coordinate treatment planning, cost estimates, and travel logistics on your behalf, where requested
• Evaluate and process hospital partnership applications
• Process job applications submitted through our Careers page
• Send newsletter updates, if you have subscribed (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• Improve our Site, services, and marketing based on aggregated usage patterns
• Measure and optimise our advertising campaigns
• Detect and prevent spam, fraud, or misuse of our forms
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies), the necessity to take steps at your request prior to entering into a service arrangement (for inquiry and coordination requests), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site. You may withdraw consent at any time; see Section 9.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Partner hospitals and clinics — only the information necessary to evaluate and respond to your specific treatment inquiry, and only with hospitals relevant to your request.
• Service providers — third parties who help us operate the Site, such as web hosting, email delivery, and database services, under obligations to protect your information.
• Analytics and advertising partners — Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta (Pixel), as described in Section 2, subject to their own privacy practices.
• Legal and safety purposes — where required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or investigate fraud or security issues.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

7. International Data Transfers

IMS™ is based in India, and the hospitals we work with are located in India. If you are accessing the Site from outside India, your information will be transferred to and processed in India, and potentially in other countries where our service providers operate (e.g., cloud hosting or analytics infrastructure). We take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy — typically for the duration of an active inquiry plus 12 months afterward for record-keeping and legal purposes — unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request earlier deletion; see Section 9.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including for marketing purposes

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/SSL) across the Site, hashed password storage for administrative access, and access controls limiting who within our team can view submitted data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including partner hospitals and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
